Was craving for a steaming hot steamboat on Friday night, and we were meeting WC’s friends after that, so we decided on this place:
Plaza Singapura, 68 Orchard Road #03-81 (The Atrium), Dhoby Ghaut, 238839
The collagen is jelly-like when served,
and when heated would become a flavourful broth! 😀
The waitresses/ waiters would help us place the ingredients in the broth individually, and all of them tasted fresh!
Its my 3rd time here! 😀 And I strongly suggest to come before 6pm to reserve seats as there are limited seats available!
Do note that soup is free for the first top-up!
Congrats WC for being promoted to Manager!
An appetiser to promote us to keep going back, when we get from Assistant Manager to Manager! 🙂
Free dessert with so much effort for its plate deco after the meal! 🙂
Supposed to head out to sing k with WC on Saturday, but Melon lent us his car (so nice of him!) and WC just passed his driving, and so we being the explorers us decided to head to somewhere that is pretty inconvenient by bus, but convenient by car : Pasarbella!
200 Turf Club Rd 287994
Its my 3rd time there, and I always eat the same thing whenever I’m there ( I just couldn’t resist).
#01-05 The Grandstand, 200 Turf Club Road
Freshly squeezed orange juice!
This shall just make do for my cravings for the rootbeer float from A & W Batam/Malaysia!
Although Omakase’s rootbeer float uses A & W rootbeer, the taste is different!:O
But the ice cream for this is softer!
What I always order! Omakase Chicken Sandwich and Cheese fries!
The Cheese fries is a MUST TRY! It has tons of warm cheese on top of the fries. The fries isn’t the best that I ever tried, but the combi together is just heavenly! 😀
This is also my fav! BUTTER BREAD WITH TWO CHICKEN PATTY FRIED TO PERFECTION IS THE BEST! 😀
After eating, we walked around Pasarbella! Its has a concept of an Australian market with an organic supermarket and other stuff such as a Russian cake shop, butchery shop and flowers shop all located at one place!
& when we first enter, this is my favourite shop of all!
Its selling at $3 per piece! Its a little larger than Laduree’s! 😀
And personally, I don’t find it that sweet/ crust is thicker than other macarons outside, so I really love macarons from here!
Other flavours that I bought previously when I went Pasarbella with my family: Oreo, Thai Iced Tea, Yuzu, Lavender, Matcha and Pistachio!
And flavours that I chose that day were L-R: Blond (Butterscotch), Thai Iced Tea, Salted Caramel and Pistachio!
Personally, I would strongly recommend Thai Iced Tea (which really reminds me of BKK) and Pistachio ( which was stated to be 100% Pistachio used for their macarons).
Super huge seafood paella! :O
AND SUPER HUGE NUTELLA! :O
Was chatting with the lady boss of this flowers shop about daises, when WC surprised me with a stalk of yellow rose! 😀
Although I personally feel that money should be spent on food that can be eaten, instead of flowers that wither overtime, its still a sweet surprise without any special occasion! 😀
Walked around further and at one end of Pasarbella is a place selling live seafood!
We walked around further and saw this! 😀
BEST. CRACKLING. ROAST.PORK.
8 dollars for this! O.O But it tasted GREAT! MUST TRY! It has 3 toppings (chilli, mustard and apple sauce) available, and I personally prefer the apple sauce one, as the rest are too spicy! I didn’t know apple is just a great blend with roast pork!
And this is the exact reason why WC and I are always puipuis! Must exercise already! :O
Happy boy! 😀
And we did went for our K session after that, and midnight movie session after that, so it was a pretty well-spent Saturday, as usual! 😀
BKK trip! 😀 Been too busy editing the pics, and decided to just publish this Pasarbella post first! 🙂
